    I don't know if this belongs in software but I'm putting it here anyways. Feel free to move where you like Moderators/Administrators!

    There used to be a fix in Google chrome where you went to chrome://plugins and you would be able to alter things like flash and wildvine (I think that's what it was called) But after an update, they disabled the plugins section, moved flash settings to chrome's settings page, and disabled enabling it forever for all sites. (Which is annoying for sites who rely on flash for most of their content) I'd like to know if there is a fix so that I may remain on the latest version of Google Chrome, and yet still be able to enable the flash player forever for all sites (Or at least sites I can whitelist and they will actually remain on instead of staying push to play) or is there a plugin or software for this specific issue, basically all I'm asking for is some guidance because I've been trying to deal with the problem by myself and can't find any resources to get it fixed (Perhaps I'm just looking in the wrong area for the fix) FYI Adobe flash is confirmed to be the latest version and Chrome is too.

    Thank you for your valuable information and responses! <3

    Sincerely, Nick

    NOTE: Possible fixes I have looked into;

    chrome://plugins

    as I mentioned earlier is out of the question (Won't work, has been removed in later updates of Google Chrome)

    Computer > Open Control Panel > Network and Internet > Internet Options > Security/Programs/Advanced

    Security: I believe there was a Flash setting in here, though after looking through, could not find it, My security is on a custom medium high setting and I believe ActiveX has to do with flash playing but I'm unsure, anyways all active X things are enabled in my custom setting without flash working.

    Programs: Seemed to have a lot of potential, Could not find anything on flash players, simply all system defaults, (such as media players, browsers and the like) and certain programs opening certain file types

    Advanced: Found lots of useful settings, but none of them had to do with media players on google chrome (sadly)

    You can open the browser's settings on a specific website by clicking the lock next to "Secure" This will bring up the basic settings for that website. However you can also click on "Site Settings" (At the bottom of the dropdown) to look at the other settings for that website. I tried enabling unsandboxed plugin access but nothing happened, I assumed this meant something to do with flash or some sort of media playing on a website. However this was not the case.

    I also tried downloading a less "built in" version of adobe flash but it did nothing

    NOTE 2: These solutions written down are for people to look at in a later date for whenever other problems with the flash player occur, they can then look into it in those areas.

    I put a Picture down for those who are struggling the same as me, I hope it motivates you <3

    Thanks again for reading and helping where possible

    Again! Sincerely, Nick

    I seem to have fixed this issue somewhat, it seems to occasionally stop working and display a message that says "This content requires the Adobe Flash Player. Get Flash" and gives me a link to download adobe flash. I assume this was a fix caused by installing a standalone adobe flash content player instead of just using chrome's built in version. So there's a fix for some websites using containers that rely on flash.
