Hey there guys. I'm having a permission problem with my computer atm.

I'm running Windows 7, I'm an Administrator and I can't access certain shortcuts or .bat files.

    I do get this error,

I've tried so many things and I still haven't got it fixed :confused.
    Help, please?

Find the exe file that runs the shortcuts and right click it. Choose properties, then click on the security tab. If "Everyone" is listed, give it full permissions. If not, add it with full permissions.

Spam click is just rapidly click it.

    Done that :/.

Did all users have full permissions? Your account, the Admin account and "Everyone"?

I believe so, it is the default administrator account. So, yes, it does.

Right click your C drive. Choose properties. Click the security tab. Now, under your user account, do you have full permissions? If not, click edit and give yourself full permissions. When you click apply, you may get a warning message.

Yes, I do. Everything is checked off except 'special permissions', which I don't have the ability to check off.

That should have fixed it. But since it didn't, I can only suggest that you use your OS CD and attempt a repair install to try to force the permissions issue.

    I actually just discovered something.
I restarted my computer and while it was starting up, I ran a .bat file.

    It worked.
So, I am guessing the applications that start up is what is causing the permission problem?

What .bat file? And what program at start up?
