Pet Peeve

Just out of curiosity, why do so many here have either their PM Option turned OFF/FULL. Twice this week I have needed to contact peeps on this site only to find; they have either not enabled PM or have there box full.

In my case I have had only one "Newbie" that kept pestering me for info on their problems, and have had about three to four PM's a week from my friends here. Know the limit of fifty is low, but the option to move to another folder is there so no real problem with the low file size.

i think most of the regs here have theres turned on. (i have mine on too) but i bet they stay full because of people pming them asking for help lol

 

Yea another friend I would hate to lose touch with, and I agree if someone tries to contact me about a Comp Problem, I always tell them to post it, mainly because I know there are more knowledgeable peeps on here than me, and it is always better to have more peeps working on the problem

 

How do you know if it is full or turned off? Does the PM bounce back to you?

you got a pm from me GT like 2months ago about a prop btw i still have not found one people around here are touchy about taking props off planes when they are not looking j/k

 

Mine's on...Not that I hardly ever get any!! But, Oh Well, however...Since we are on the subject...even though I empty it out...it still shows there are messages there and that so much of my mailbox is occupied...what's up with that...am I missing something!?!?

I have no problem leaving mine on with MG's!
Have only ever received positive messages of thanks and the like, nothing ever bad!

Plus i've always had this underlying fear that MA may find the need to tell me to 'butt-out' and go to bed!
I don't check my outlook inbox much these days...heh!

The fact that there is an ON/OFF option on PMs means it is a choice, which means every user has a right to a choice. If it peeves you, it's still a person's right to choose

Inbox full? yeah...it happens.....some of us get more than 3-4 a week

 

i get 3-4 amonth if i'm lucky thats if i am doing a deal with someone but if i am not selling or buying something thin i never get a pm i dont know if i should be glad or sad at that fact
