Searched for reference to this but unable to locate anything. Would appreciate enlightenment on the following. What is PF and what does it indicate? On my Dell 4600, XP Home, 80 Ghz hd dr, 1024 ram, 2.4 proc, the Task Manager shows that PF usage is 378mb. CPU usage is almost at zero. Thanks for any feedback

Thanks Kodo. Is the 386 a fair # to be using on my comp. What elevates or dimishes the usage. In general I usually have about half of the 1024 memory avail. Not sure if this is a relevant factor or not.

Looks ok to me. The more apps you use at one time is one way to increase PF usage. With a gig though, your PF usage should be minimal.
