I uninstalled the free Outpost Firewall after trying it for a few days and it's left behind two network adaptors (aka "miniports"). I thought I'd uninstall them even though they don't appear to be doing any harm but the system won't let me, it says they're required for boot-up.

As I say they don't appear to be doing any harm but I'd like to be rid of them if I don't need them. Can anyone tell me how?

FYI this is a re-post of a topic I started in the Software forum, someone there suggested I ask here. :)

    Many thanks.
