Hey guys hows everyone doing tonight?

Anyways I thought up a ridiculously crazy Overclocking project. It includes a mini fridge.

So i wanna try to push the most speed out of my new Phenom ii 940 as i can. I was thinking about water cooling. But then i figured the only reason water cooling is good at all is because it moves heat much faster. it only cools to room temperature with the radiators. So i got an idea. Why not stick the radiators in a mini fridge? Drill holes in the door big enough to fit the hoses through. Put something around the hoses to seal them on both sides so no air can escape through those holes. Cut 120mm holes in the door and add fans to blow air in. That way there is air flowing into the fridge. I was also thinking about doing something totally different. Xtreme Air cooling. Put some kind of tube around the vents of an Air conditioner that will into my computer case. Then Run tubes to the processor that will be one way. Have the air blow through a finned heatsink. Add a fan on the other side to suck the air out and push it outside my case. Add tubes to the NB and SB as well as memory and Video card.

    What do you guys think?

    Thanks
    Derek

Sounds like fun. Not sure if I would pump room temp. air into the fridge. Maybe a couple of fans on the rad. itself and, have it closer to the bottom of the fridge with the fans blowing toward the top. when the air cools then it flows back to the bottom of the fridge.
Maybe ??? The A/c idea should really cool it, if you can stand the noise while you see what kind of overclocks you can get.

I gave up on this idea after learning that Voltages above 1.5 are unsafe for this processor...I got it to 3.6 on air...but read a lot online that 1.6 is unsafe for it. Kinda disappointed me

I did the ref thingy, but went to under-counter ice maker and used copper tubing in and out of freezer, with 3x the coils inside then outside, and the outside coils are installed in a box which has a fan to pull air out of the box to the input air of the tower , I used antifreeze in the coils just in case I forget to turn o freezer off very cold tower :cool
