photos in itunes

Hello!

A question....I've set my ipod to enable disk use so that I can store stuff on it without having to have it on my computer as well. I would like to put some photos on my ipod, but I'm unsure how. In the photos tab, it prompts you to synch your ipod with the computer, but if I do that, will it synch everything, ie. will I lose my music? Is there another way to add photos to one's ipod that I'm not aware of?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi

Should be able to just open up My Computer/Computer and look for Devices with Removable Storage and your iPod should be listed, double click to open and you can like a USB stick copy files/folders to your iPod ( using drag n drop and copy and paste ), you dont use iTunes to copy files when using the iPod for its Enable Disk mode, if you do and sync it will add remove whats in your sync list.

You wont however be able to play any songs, video etc that are not copied using iTunes menus and dragged and droped in instead, due to the way the iPod works, its just a method of transfering any files, from Word Docs, PDFs, mp3s, pictures, setup files etc .. like having a USB sick built into your iPod.

All this does is allow you to use your iPod as a removable device, the iTunes music, video, pictures that are in your sync list, library and on your iPod are untouched.
