Photoshop CS3 - change size by opening

Hi everybody,

I've got Adobe Photoshop CS3 (old) and whenever I open an image, the programme opens it at 25% if it's shape landscape and 17% if portrait. But as I lose time by enlarging them to 35% / 27% to fit the screen, I was looking for the PS help how to open them automatically in these sizes. I didn't find anything. I dunno if it's possible or not, but as I'm trying to "mend" 400 pics these days, it'd be a great help if it would open them "big" instead of small. Hope you know what I mean...
Maybe someone has an answer how to change it?

I am not a Photoshop person - the only suggestion I have concerning that program would be to look in whatever 'Options', 'Preferences' or 'Tools' menus that it might have, see if there is a default 'zoom' setting, etc. Maybe some others here can jump on board with better tips...

However, a quick 'out-of-the-box' workaround might be to change your screen resolution temporarily. I know that when working with large numbers of photos one of my clients switches her resolution from 1920x1080 to 1280x720 to keep from having to zoom so much.

Thanks for the reply. Didn't find anything in Tools / Options (or what I found didn't work for the others) but tried the screen resolution and it's better now, the image is larger indeed, so might continue with this solution. Even if strange but still better than to enlarge them all... Thanks!

Yeah, this is not a fix per se, but anything's better than having to click something 400 times (or any multiple thereof)...hope it works for you, and have a safe and happy holiday!

 

Yes, I found a resolution where the programm opens the landscape image at 33% (before 25) and the portrait at 25% (before 17), so it's much better, no need to enlarge them! Great! Thanks for the tip.
