php version of server.htmlencode

    What is the PHP version of server.htmlencode?

    Depends what youre doing.
    htmlencode()
    or addslashes() would probably work

    Yeah guess not then :p addslashes should work though

    both addslashes and htmlentities return nothing... they don't return an error, but they don't do anything.

    i'm just going to test that on my host's server i guess... it's probably because i didn't install part of it or something.

    before I explain myself, please excuse my stupidity.....

    i had the line as <?php addslashes('words here'); ?> instead of <?php echo addslashes('words here'); ?>

    need more sleep...
