Hello, just got home from the benefit, and thought you all would like to see some pics of it. The little girl wasn't there, but I think that was a good thing, because there was a TON of people there, and she needs her strength, due to the fact she was so sick today... I didn't know we had this many people in our area! :-D

That little girl has a long road to hoe, and this fundraiser has just brought out TONS of people! Sure was nice to see I just thought I would share them with all of you, as this has been a team effort here...

 

Looks like it was a lot of fun! Yeah --- they do seem to come out of the woodwork, eh? :-D

Oh, Laura, it was wonderful. There was a steady stream of people, and it never slowed down.. That was for the little girl that started the hats She is only 11, and has brain cancer.. Yes, this was a major undertaking, for sure, and I don't know who won that bucket of fun, but it wasn't me!:-D

 

Absolutely, Laura. I was going to post these in the hats thread, but I see it has gone by the wayside, so I just started a new one.. It was actually so humbling to see soooo many come out especially in today's economy... One thing for sure, nobody knows, when they will need help, and the community will rally for them as well...

She was at home, and wanted to be there, but with her blood count so low, she has to go in for a blood transfusion tomorrow, and certainly didn't need to be around any germs of any kind, as the Chemo is taking so much out of her. She is a little trooper tho! I was just amazed, and it is going on until midnight tonight, YES, still on, as they had a band donate their time to play, so I can't wait to hear their figures!! Those were real cops doing the Security too. All in all, so very cool! That is one LUCKY little girl, for sure.

It don't matter who won the bucket of fun TeeCee as long as it raised lots of moolaa ( cash ) and helped towards getting the little mite back up and running again !

 

Glad the charity was a success, TeeCee. Looks like y'all did an awesome job of it. Great when you can support a really worthy cause and have a barrel of fun at the same time. Good job!)

 

I would have typed more when I responded the other day, but I just didn't have the means to do it. I'm glad everything went well, I was at a spaghetti benefit for a gentleman I know, last weekend. He's terminal, the turn out was fantastic though, always good. Best wishes for Taytem & hope all is well with everyone.

 

Hello, I just heard there was a steady stream of people from 1:00PM right thru Midnight, with no slowing, non-stop! They are still working out the details, but it sure sounds like everyone and everybody came out! Yes, it was a HUGE success! Taytem is one Lucky girl! Seems strange, for being in a small town tho..

@ Phantom: I didn't win the barrel of fun! roflmao somebody else did! :-D All in all, it was a great turnout! I just figured you all would enjoy the pics. I see the barrel of fun is a BIG hit! roflmao roflmao
