Pics sent immediately, directly to web page

I'd like to connect a digital camera to a computer via UBS cable and have pictures (still, not video) appear immediately on a web page (either my own page, a photo sharing site/etc). So, I click a picture and it's automatically sent directly to a web page - instantly...no down/up loading. Is this possible and if so, how? I suspect it must incorporate some type of FTP with each picture...maybe need to automate that process???

No it isn't possible. To get a picture from your camera to the internet, you need to upload it somewhere. You can upload it by http or by ftp.
If you have a website, usually tools are included in the control panel to allow you to upload files, pictures, scripts by either method.

The problem is...we have no idea if the camera in question, a Vivatar, accepts sd and/or sdhc cards.

and Vivitar isn't on the list.

I knew those cards existed but I thought it only went wirelessly from the camera to a computer. I did not know it could be sent to the internet. Thanks for pointing that out.
