   I have windows xp. I uploaded all my photos to a rewritable disk. Problem: After accessing the files once, many of the photos have been changed to an unknown directory, or at least an unreadable one. It shows the disk is just as full as it was originally, but 75% of the content is inaccessable. Is there a program to recover or redirect these files?

   also have you tried that RW disk in a plain old DVD drive as it should be able to read the contents.. I find this has helped in the past when I have had similar unreadable CDRWs
