Picture recovery?

I'm not very computer literate. I was wondering if you viewed pictures from your f drive or went to a site and browsed pictures from your f drive and downloaded them onto that site are they saved anywhere on your computer? If so how do you find and access them. Thank you!

The f: drive is a logical representation of a location on your system. This could be space or folders on your computers hard drive, CD/DVD drives, or folders accessible on a network. Essentially, it's different for everyone. We don't know what your f: drive is.

However, if you were browsing the internet, and the page had pictures, they ARE temporatily saved on your computer, so that viewing them again will be quicker (loading it from hard drive as opposed to from the internet)...where they are depends on the operating system you're using... which is????

 

I use Windows XP. The original card from my digital camera was destroyed and I viewed them on my computer a couple of times but didn't save. I also downloaded them onto another site for a sweepstakes that has since ended so I was hoping they are in my computer somewhere.
