Picture Saving Help???

My apologies right off the bat because I hate to be the one to 'not follow the rules' so please throw this thread where it belongs....IF it belongs somewhere....LOL I did try to find the right spot for this, and I couldn't

When i right click on an image and click save picture as, and then the screen comes up to save it.....well no matter what the image is, it always comes up filename UNTITLED
save as type Bitmap (bmp)

I cant even drop down the box to select other file types.

So now everything i try and save it called untitled and in bitmap type, even if I am saving a file that already has been named.

It started on Saturday, and I know I didnt do anything to my computer to make this change.

Is there a way to select/choose it to be the way it was before. The filename always came up as what the picture had been saved as, and normally in .jpg format.

This bmp stuff really throws me off.... LOL

Try deleteing IE's Temporary Internet files. You can do that by selecting Tools > Options, select the General tab, and then click the Delete Files button. Now see if you can save jpeg's or gif files.
