Pictures stuck in library CD drive

Okay, I have quite the embarrassing situation, but I'm gonna be blunt on here since I don't hafta look anybody in the face, but, well... I have images on a public library computer CD drive that won't stay deleted. Anything else beforehand always stayed deleted, and I'm sure anything else afterward, except these specific pictures. It's been a few months since then, and I'm sure they've discovered the pictures by now and done whatever, but I'd like to know how to fix such a problem should it arise again in the future by some freak of nature.

Details..... The images are graphic; to put it plainly, it's porn, so I never confided in the library staff. Technically, it's against regulation and all that to download porn from a public library computer, etc, etc and I regret it very much, especially since I got them stuck on their computer... I mean, you can delete them that morning, but once they get shut off for the night and started up again the next day, they're undeleted. Not a great situation. I think I know how they got stuck, like maybe when they were burning, I shut the computer off in the middle of the process... I can't be 100% sure though, I have the memory of a goldfish, so... yeah.

Advice? I mean, besides the obvious.

 

Because the public is, well, going to do this perhaps they set this up as a mousetrap so as to catch up with those who dont behave.
