Pit bull vs Porcupine

A Pit bull decided he would battle a Porcupine in back of his house in Southern California.

But being both brave and STUPID, he ultimately learned the hard way that he can't always win.
No matter how tough you are.




A vet sedated the dog, and then removed a total of 1,347 quills.

The dog survived, and hopefully learned a valuable lesson

 

Dear god. How is the dog not permanently blind from that experience? :confused

I'd enter it in the Westminster Dog Show. Just say it's some rare breed, something like Upper Scandinavian Needler hound.

It's a pure bred cousin, but not a pit bull. The head is shaped different.



I have no idea why I needed to point that out. It's a stupid dog, either way.

 

Yeppers on the English Terrier. Porcupine quills are horrid. They go in real easy, but are barbed and don't come out very well. Usually ends up infected.

Only ever had on quill in my hand in my life, trying to remove some from a dog that had been quilled. One of the most painful jabs I've ever encountered. ('Prolly deserve a Darwin Award for that one).
