Plasma HDTV Image Retention

Hello, im not sure if this is in the right section or not, if its not im sorry for the mistake can you /move it please.

my problem/question is, i was recently playing fable 2 on xbox 360 on my 42" PN42A450 Plasma HDTV (samsung) and i noticed a part of the hud from bottom left was left imprinted onto the screen, its only noticeable when the screen is white or black, not during viewing of movies tv or anything like that.

my question is, is this burn in or a minor image retention? ive tried running the side scrolling bar (burn in fix or w/e) a couple times but its still there partly. have also tried the full white screen function a couple times but i see minor improvement (ran for 5-20mins) , should i try running it longer?

also the side scrolling function shuts off my tv after about 5 minutes i believe.

well heres an update on the situation, ive found a topic that stated jscreenfix would help with the issue, so i tried the thing from their website and it seems to have fixed about 80-90% of the retention, its not even noticeable anymore unless i actually focus really hard on that area to see it.
