    Anybody heard of these people? They mind your address book for, apparently, and they get your mates to update through them

    My objection to it is that even when it's a good friend who has bought into ths scheme and is updating his address book, it LOOKS bogus! It looks like a phishing expedition that wants your personal contact info and is using a name from your add book.

    I've had three of them, and I've refused all three and written to the people who launched them just to say that updating your address book with your friends' info seems to me to be the sort of thing you do personally, on a one-by-one basis, with a Hello and some news, maybe; not with a
    GREETINGS FROM PLAXO! message.

    Thans, gents. It looked a bit that way, and then confirmed when I had a bugger of a job getting it off. Finally into Regedit and dig it out of the registry
    (Xflat, I don't quite know which principles are involved here?)
