    Hi,

I have two games for Win95 (Myst and Riven) and would like to play them on a Win98SE... is this possible without rendering my machine useless?

    Win98SE
95Mg RAM (or so properties says, I think start-up says 96)
    500Mhz Intel Celeron
2Gig Hard drive (can't imagine you would need that info...)
No actual video card I think... just simulated 3d blah blah blah.

Let's see... Myst and Riven were put out by RedOrb Entertainment/Cyan Productions/Broderbund (sheesh, pick one. lol)
Myst says it is for Win95 or Win3.1.
Riven says it is for Win95 or Mac 7.5 or higher.
Riven also mentions DirectX compatability (but not which version) and has the QuickTime logo on the box... if I recall correctly, Myst used QuickTime too.
Anyway, really would like to play them since the machine I bought them for was too whimpy to play them correctly, now I have a somewhat better machine...

Any help would be, well, helpfull.

    Thanks for your time! :)

Should work with no problems. 98 and 95 are pretty much the same.

It has been a while since I tried to play these games on this machine, but it did not want any part of them. I will have to try it again and get the error messages, so I can post them here.
