Hello, not sure if this is a question that can be answered here or not? I have a client that wants to run a power point presentation looped on a Samsung Smart TV. I currently have it running off a USB drive plugged in the TV itself. They would like to be able to access it and make changes to it through the network. I have a network drop ran to the TV. When I hit source on the TV I see the PC's but can not access them. Don't want to take your time but if there is a trick that you know it's been driving me insane trying to get this to work.
    Thanks for any help.

?Smart TVs will play ppt files from USB? How do you see PC's (multiple PCs?) attached to a smart TV? I need an better description... but here goes.

If there is a networked PC attached to the TV, you need to find out it's name. Usually (if they are Windows) you have a default share, so going to another PC and typing in the start menu \\pcname\c$ you'll get a prompt for user credentials - if you use a name and password of someone/an account already on that PC you can access the files.

I'd buy a stick PC, plug it in the TV and load the files there, then access and make changes to it.

Fist off I'm kinda flying by the seat of my pants here so .......
The USB is playing a media file not a ppt.
When I hit source on the TV remote I see two PC's listed. If I highlight one and hit enter it wants credentials as you stated above.

If they purchase a stick PC can someone access the stick PC remotely?

Sure some stick PCs run Windows and have the same file sharing capabilities. So you are using a TV remote and selecting "Source" ? And there are 2 PCs attached to the screen? You don't have credentials to log in to either PC?
