Playing No One Lives Forever 2 in Windows 7

I've just installed this game on Win7 and everything works fine except for the audio. I've done some searching and found that people have had some results with uninstalling codec packs. I uninstalled the game and my codec pack (k lite) and then reinstalled the game. There is still no sound in the game aside from music. I have also tried other compatibility modes, but to no avail. Has anyone had success playing this game on Windows 7 that could possibly help me out? Thanks.
