So I just got a copy of "Operation Weather Disaster", which is compatible with Windows 3.1 or later and my computer will let me play for a while before I get a blue screen error and the system reboots. The only time I can play without disruption is in safe mode and the sound card is disabled (unfortunately, sound is imperative to the game). Is there any way I can play this game on my computer? Thanks for your help in advance.

    XP Home

No it's not a DOS game. I've also tried running the compatibility wizard and I've tried right-clicking the .exe to change its compatibility with no luck.

    Hi

Could try running the game in Windowed mode, and to do this righ click the games shourtcut and choose Properties then in the Target box at -window (do add a space before the -)

then try the game, Windowed mode works with many games but not all.
