PLEASE HELP ASAP! adobe default??

i was trying to open up some kind of file that needed to be unziped and for-some dumb reason i chose "adobe". omg, for some reason, EVERYTHING's default is now adobe! i know its an easy fix, but i cant seem to just get there!

im running windows 7, and the laptop is semi new to me but the settings seem to be very much like XP as to how to do what. so please, someone tell me quick! how can i get into default settings, or whatever when adobe is running the show right now? grrr.

thank you to whomever can give me a quick response, very much appreciated! i couldnt find anything i search, so please be kind if someone else has asked this lol

i cant even open program access/computer defaults! it tries to open with adobe which doesnt work!

Hi

Could you tell us what fuke you had tried to open was it a zip or exe? i know you already mentioned zip but setting an association of zip to adobe (and which adobe app was it) doesnt tend to cause a loss of opening exe files in which your progran access defaults or please explaun more on the location and app you are trying to open

Could try this re-associate the exe files http://www.winhelponline.com/blog/file-asso-fixes-for-windows-7/ and choose exe

or coukd try a system restore back to last restore point
