I installed a new external CD burner, and iTunes got confused and stopped being able to burn things. My external hard drive was still E, and iTunes would still play music, it just couldn't find a disk drive to use and told me to reinstall iTunes to fix that. Well I didn't bother until tonight. I had burned a bunch of CDs with Roxio that came with the new burner, not realizing they had burned as data discs until tonight. I have a radio show tonight and I need them. So I tried reburning stuff with Roxio the RIGHT way. It wouldn't work, it couldn't find a burner to use. So then I decided to uninstall and reinstall iTunes so that I could burn with that. After uninstalling, I restarted, and then magically all the drive letters had changed. So now, my external HD is G, and iTunes won't open because it's looking for the My Music folder through E. I tried going to Control Panel>Administrative Options>Computer Management>Disk Management to change the letter, but it doesn't even give me that option for my external drive. What can I do??

First thing, can you change the Itunes software to look at your G drive?

If not, you can go into your disk managment and change drive letters for everything but your C drive. To get into disk management go to Start>Run>type in MMC hit enter>click on file at the top and click add/remove snap-in>click add and then scroll down and double click on Disk Management>the option for this computer should be selected> click finish. Click close for the add standalone snap-in window>click OK on the ADD/Remove Snap-in window. Click on disk management in the left window pane and your drives will appear after a few seconds. In the bottom pane right click the drive whose letter you want to change and select change drive letter and paths. Click change at the bottom of the window. On the right hand side you can choose which drive letter you want the drive to be.

Be sure not to try and change the letter to one that is already in use.
