PLEASE HELP!!! Locked out . . .

Using Windows 2000 pro on my other computer and somehow i changed the logon information and have no clue what it's set at - i cannot access my computer now (cannot log on) as i AM the administrator and contacting me for help is proving futile

is there a way to bypass this - just tried f8 and booting with last known good config and it came to the same logon prompt and now im stuck

Perhaps, you should burn some floppies as an offering to Dell, as I believe that you referred to them as God in another post. After smelling the smoke from the burning floppies and realizing that an offering has been made, Dell could possibly unlock your hard drive for you!

I've used it worked great, it removes some windows updates to hack thru security, after your in, just update at Microsoft.

I'm sorry if you took my post wrong, and my apologies. While OEM's can and do provide some great fixes for problems, most of the time they don't. In the time that I have been a memer of this forum, mostly a lurker and not a poster, I have seen more problems solved by members of this forum than the OEMS.

I did notice that you weren't flamed for your original post concerning the "God" issue, and I'm glad. My post was only in fun, and I'm sorry that you took offense to it. This is a first for me being called a "douche bag", although I have been called far worse. I have enough enemies now, and don't need more, so again, my apologizes.

its ok novice - i posted it when i was very excited and i new something like that would eventually come back to me - -- i actually thought it was kinda funny - but gotta save some face and let the douchebag's roll once ina a hile . . . btw- i tried every password ive ever used and finally got to my first dog's name and whammo - - don't set passwords wasted people - not worth it
