    Okay...

My PC is getting all weird and stuff, and i have no idea what is going on.

All i know is that it all happened when i was playing CoD4 and it crashed horribly. And everytime when i tried to start my PC, it gave me blue screen of death and black screen of boredom. I tried PC restoration and numerous option listed but it all failed..

    Problems:

    1. Graphic...nvidia 8500 GT, is acting all weird lately, i m able to play games properly or even watch a movie or cable TV. I tried deleting and removing the hardware and the software and re-installing it, but it gave me blue screen of death and random crash as soon as I started playing games. Please note that my driver is up-to-date.

    2. Sound...I can't hear anything. I checked plugs and power, its all fine, and the drivers' updated. Everything is fine and it just won't play a sound. I have no idea and clue.

    3. Software...when I tried to run my Windows Media Center it crashed horribly, and giving me black screen of boredom.

    4. I have no clue, i tried searching for any clue on nvidia forum and other forums and support sites, it just doesn't gave me a clear answer to my problems. Can anyone help me with my PC and its strange behaviour. Note that I did not download anything during the time it went crazy and crashing while I was playing CoD4.

Thanks for any comments and suggestons. I urgently need my PC to be up and running perfectly. So if anyway can solve and help me solve my problem I will be glad.

What does you Device Manager show? Are there any missing or improperly installed drivers?
Have you checked the Event Viewer to see what may be causing the crashes?
What messages are you getting with the BSOD's.
Have you run any malware scans to make sure that isn't the problem?
Are the temps on your CPU or GPU getting too high?

    Did it ever work properly?

If so use System Restore to take it back to a working point.

    Start>programs>accessories>SystemTools>SystemRestore.

Then I would advise you to run a malware check by going to the maware forum and following the instructions in read and runme first.

message and the first number of the error code will tell us exactly what is causing the problem - hardware or software; otherwise it is just wild guessing on everyone's part.

Okay i forgot to list one of my many problems...

    about that graphic card right...

1st of all i cant even get to the startup screen with my monitor plug attached to the graphic card slot. However if i attach it the non-graphic (motherboard) the screen wud work, otherwise i wont be able do anything.

about that error code...it says something like umm

    0x000000016 .....

other than that i cant get the other # down, caz its too fast.

    help wud be appriciated alot!
