O.k., the MOBO recognizes both masters (cd-rw and Seagate HD) and I have gone through the setup process under WIN XP PRO.

It was setupUP UNDER CD ROM BOOT FIRST THEN i tried Hard Disk first.

I even formatted the drive again and went through the whole setup process again.

Like Steve Max suggested, I do not touch anything when computer automatically re boots after copying its files. When it reboots automatically, it goes to screen push any key to boot cd....... I did not touch anything and after 15 minutes, computer just freezes.

I also did what Halo suggested and as soon as it says its rebooting sutomatically, take out xp pro and let it reboot then eventually it will read from hard drive. It froze after 15 minutes again and all it said was verifying DMI Data...............................

So now what? I cannot install windows XP Pro at all. It will just go back to the original setup process every single time.

Everything seems 100% great in my MOBO and I have reset the CMOS ALSO.

Now whats the next step or what do you experts really think is wrong here?

Should I try a floppy boot up now? try installing windows 98se?

This is so frustrating because this is my first build and I think I am so close.

Sorry I didn't read what the other suggestion you were giiven , but If your doing a complete new install after a format than set the cmos to boot from the cd and set win xp to be NTSF instead of a FAT system although win xp will work with both, and follow the promps after xp checks you computer for space and compatability it will reboot ------ don't click anything let the computer do it's thing and you should be ok

Also try taking out one memmory stick, that is if you have 2.
I had allot of troubles when I built mine, it turned out memmory was bad.

I have a amd 64 3500 + cpu and I dont see any kind of FAT but I do see the NTSF.

I have tried that method as well. I have reformatted so many times, boot up from cd as first boot, even tried boot from hard disk etc.. nothing works.

After it copies its files and goes into restart mode, my initial screen comes up, I hit f1 that sends me too setup and then it boots from cd again every time, right back to the begining.

I have brand new everything as this is a first system build. I cannot figure it out, it just wont load. Should I try win98se first then? could it be the hard drive? I know its not the cpu and MOBO.

If I dont touvh anything, the computer says press any key to boot cd............. it just freezes after awhile. it wont do anything on its on.

The ahrd disk boot up just stays at verifying data pool................. and thats all I get.

Is it hanging here, Verifying DMI Pool Data?

Yes, it just hangs there, nothing gets beyond that message.
