I'm getting very random blue screens i uploaded the the dump file and all I was doing was league of legends. Also these are very random I have still have no clue why I'm getting these and I don't even see the blue screen it just restarts itself. Bug code comes up as 0x124 which could be anything. i have posted before but ive been getting no help on whats causing it. im glad i just got a warning on LoL.

the stop code error 0x124 is a hardware related issue. here is a list of things you can try

    1) Ensure that none of the hardware components are overclocked. Hardware that is driven beyond its design specifications - by overclocking - can malfunction in unpredictable ways.

    2) Ensure that the machine is adequately cooled. If there is any doubt, open up the side of the PC case (be mindful of any relevant warranty conditions!) and point a mains fan squarely at the motherboard. That will rule out most (lack of) cooling issues.

    3) Update all hardware-related drivers: video, sound, RAID (if any), NIC... anything that interacts with a piece of hardware. It is good practice to run the latest drivers anyway.

    4) Attempt to (stress) test those hardware components which can be put through their paces artificially. The most obvious examples are the RAM and HDD(s). For the RAM, use the in-built memory diagnostics (run MDSCHED) to run many hours worth of testing. For hard drives, check whether CHKDSK /R finds any problems on the drive(s), notably "bad sectors". Unreliable RAM, in particular, is deadly as far as software is concerned, and anything other than a 100% clear memory test result is cause for concern. Unfortunately, even a 100% clear result from the diagnostics utilities does not guarantee that the RAM is free from defects - only that none were encountered during the test passes.

hope these help to at least narrow down the problem :) feel free to reply here if you need more assistance.

Even though I have MSI Afterburner on I don't use it to overclock just for temp, gpu usage for when I playing games so it shouldn't be the corporate. I keep everything updated. The pc does tend to run around 90°F but I have a fan blowing into the side for when I open the Window then it gets down to like 70°F (I'm wanting a new case though). I'll do the tests and see what happens. Should I get a bsod while doing one? And like I said I don't even see it just restarts itself.

got done running ram and chkdsk no problems the only thing left is the heat or the psu(not sure if it would cause the problem

It seem's to me your pc is running way to hot.

Pc games today need power, good graphics adapter, good cpu, plenty of memory and a power supply of around or over 400 watts. Its always best to check the system requirements for a game, before you decide to install/download & play them.

My system idles around 40, but playing games 60/65

I would seriously strip down the heat sink and clear of any dust with a paint brush, and apply some silver pastes to the cpu part, check the fan on the heat sink is taking out air, then blow directly on the heat sink .

I would do the same to the graphics adapter too.

plenty of you tube videos to show how to clean and apply paste to a chip.

Then once you did this check your temps again.

The gpu is fairly new but the cpu is kinda old (2005) but I thought I was just fine because a friend of mine said 80-100°F was fine. I'll check the paste and whatnot but I still think I need my case I wanted.

There's still a bit of paste on the cpu cooler and chip. But it looks like I could use the case I'm looking at has three fans and I'm running with this 400w psiATX2POWER400

That friend of mine thinks that my power supply isn't good for gaming and whatnot thinking of getting the corsair 600watt to be on safe side

So its either the heat or the power supply

600 will not leave you a lot of room for upgrades, up it a bit if you can.
You might also check your case fans, all working and front blowing in, back blowing out.

everything is pretty much fine i have posted the issue on tomshardware they are almost surtain that its the PSU. heck when im just lying on my bed i can somewhat hear the psu. of friend of mine said the 600M would be just fine the only thing i want upgraded now is the mobo and CPU itll be a while though.
