    Hi Guys,
I have a problem watching any .avi files. They used to play just fine and after I upgraded to Windows Media Player 11, all the new files display a header that says PicVideo and a footer that says www dot jpg dot com. As a reliable company, Microsoft is unwilling to help after they messed up your computer unless you pay them outrageous fees so any kind of hints of how to get rid of this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

you might want to remove any other codec packs you've installed, and reinstall a new one. or look for something in your add/remove programs list that has anything to do with picvideo. a list of codec packs can be found here:

I prefer either k-lite or cccp codec packs.
