Please help with about:blank problem

My home page gets redirected to about:blank page. I have downloaded spyware s&d and adaware and cwshredder. These things seem to fix the problem but when I start the internet the next time the problem comes back. Spyware s&d will continually find VX2/?, DSOExploit, Huntbar, and WebDialer. It will fix these problems, but they come back. I have downloaded the HijackTHis program, but don't know how to use it. Can someone guide me through? Thanks in advance.
