Please help with Drivers for XP SP2

I have exactly the same problel with The Gos.
I have an old laptop, I ve installed Windows XP Pro SP2 Greek edition, and there are no drivers installed in PCI device, USB device, Ethernet, video, video(VGA) , so i cant connect to the Internet from this PC and I need a driver for my motherboard to instal or whatever you think so. So help....................

Hi

As The Gos never did come back and answer some questions about their PC its wise to move your post to its own thread and question.

What is the make and model of your laptop, if from DELL, HP etc please tell us the make and model and if possible the service tag number as this will help us to direct you to the driver files needed.

To help us further with info please follow the below as written and attach the log as per instructions.

Download and install Everest to find this info, at times a summary log of your PC can help, to do this

Install Everest and run
Click Report (top menu) > Report Wizard > Next
Choose System Summary Only > Next
Choose Plain Text > Finish and wait for report to generate
Click Save to File and leave the File Name as Report, then click the Save as Type dropdown and choose Report files (*txt) and click Save (n.b. Save to desktop is best as easy place to find it, use Browse to locate desktop)

Then attach your log to your next post as per these instructions HOW TO: Attach Items To Your Post

May not be easy if much of the resulting log is in Greek, but I would imagine we can muddle through as brand names are generally in US English.

The main driver we are after is the Chipset and this needs to be installed first and then your PC rebooted and it should take care of the PCI and USB drivers, then the others can be installed in no particular order, but as you have SP2 you will need the UAA HD Audio driver installed before the Audio to get sound, and its HERE (this is the Greek version of the file) so download to use later on.
