NO ONE answered my first thread....so again,

Fist the symptoms. If I use my mouse scroll, i can hear weird scratching humming or buzzing noise (very odd obnoxious sound)as i scroll. If I play an online game, and use teamspeak, the humming noise is unbearably in the background. All my sounds work, but that humming (or buzzing) is just not cool. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers for my sound. Maybe someone here can help. I have tried with and without headphones and stereo speakers. My specs are below...

Only thing I can think of is to try a different mouse. Or uninstall any mouse software that came with your mouse.

    You can also try this,

Turn the Use smooth scrolling setting off, it's under Advanced in Internet Properties.

just for petes sake, i Uninstalled the mouse, but its not the problem. The SOUND is. The mouse was One example. Even when a web page loads, and the lil working thing in the top right corner of the browser box spins......makes the noise til it stops. When my anti-virus checks for updates and it spins in the system tray, it causes the noise. .....Dumbfounded..

Thanks for the information. You originally stated mouse, so the answers were about the mouse.

So, now we have a bit more info.

When you removed the mouse, did you physically remove it or did you remove the software?

When you tried to remove the drivers for the sound card and then re-installed them, where did the drivers come from? Your original cdrom? From ASROCK website?
