please help

    not sure what im suppose to do or where im suppose to post this i havent found anything to solve this problem. when i start my computer and went to the boot window my computer will not alllow me to do a factory restore. every time i try it sends me straight to login and skips it. i also ended up with a drive q in my puter i have no idea where it came from or how it got there. it wont even let me in because it says i need administrator and i am the administrator. it wont allow me to access it at all.... can anyone help please

    You need to provide more info so the geeks can troubleshoot.
    Brand and model of computer, version of Windows you are running (as well as service packs), why you feel you need to restore (perhaps it would be easier to fix the problem than to go all the way back to a factory restore).
