I have a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop with an AMD 64 processor, and is running XP 2005 Media edition. My problem is the program Malwarebytes will not un-install,or re-install, and as a result has knocked out the Internet Explorer.

When I try to un-install the program, I receive a message that Malwarebytes has an error. "C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes'Anti-Malware\unins000.Msg" is missing.
Please correct the problem or obtain a new copy ot the program.

Well, I can't download a new copy because the program has this missing file.

How can I get this malware product off of my computer?

I have spent hours searching for an answer to this problem.

    Thanks for any advice.
