If you are using your own video card...is there an option in the bios to disable the onboard video??

If the board doesn't even post, then I'd say you've got a bios issue!!

I once got a board that came bundled with a cpu that it supposedly supported...but they failed to mention that you had to flash the bios to a newer rivision that has recently come out in order to use the cpu that came with the board!! Another words... when they packaged the board and cpu together it wasn't compatible, but they knew that there would be a bios release before the product hit the shelf, that would make it compatible!! Which really sucks, if someone doesn't have a cpu that will work with it in order to get the bios flashed and then put the new one in!! But they say they do it all the time and they really don't care!!

To make a long story short...can you boot from a floppy, in order to flash the bios to the latest revision (which obviously you would have to download from another computer), and if not...do you have and older cpu that will work in that board so that you can atleast get it to post, and/or boot from a floppy in order to flash the bios!!??
