More info about you connection to the internet would be helpful. Cable? DSL? Do you use a router and/or firewall?

I dont know anything about the game but if your on a broadband connection you may need to enable and define port forewarding in your router and you may also have to make some changes in your firewall configuration.

I would need the brand and model of the router you use and the brand and model of the modem and is the modem DSL or Cable.

If your running XP SP2 there is a firewall built in which is on by default. If your on anything older than that and your not aware of a firewall then you probably dont have one. I would strongly recommend using a firewall. MajorGeeks has several free ones that are pretty good. I use ZoneAlarm. It's available here http://www.majorgeeks.com/ZoneAlarm_Free_d388.html

I dont remember the address and password for the D-Link router but someone will pick up the thread that does. I mostly use Linksys. If you have the documentation for it there should be something to explaine port forewarding and how to gain access to the router to configure it.

Because your on DSL, the modem may also be an issue. Some DSL modems are also routers such as ActionTec. That could require configuration as well.
