Please hold for a rep.......

Has anyone else gotten this line: "Please hold, while we get a Representative"... Or, logged into a secure site, and got that famous "Please wait while we validate your log in "..... I do understand about security, but golly this is just ridiculous! rolleyes I just spent an HOUR on the phone, waiting for a Rep. from our Prescription services..

I ordered some refills, and got an e-mail, telling me one was CANCELLED... (HUH? Not by me!) Anyway, had to wait on HOLD for a rep, afer going thru the automated system, then a Rep comes on, and says, "Let me check on that.. " well, I am on hold, then 10 minutes later, she comes back, and says, "Can I put you on hold? " Cripe, I thought I was on hold... Turns out, the RX wasn't "CANCELLED" but put on PENDING .... Geez, I think there is a HUGE difference between cancelled and pending, but they don't seem to think so....rolleyes

Just my rant for the day.. Oh, I feel so much better now!:-D

 

I hate when I get that similar messages on live chat with companies as well as automated systems whats the point of them? You put in all your info and then the rep just asks for that info again! I also hate people that can't do their job rolleyes

 

Oh, pclover, I was just livid this am.. Then, I get an e-mail from them this afternoon.. Talk about NOT doing their job... I did speak to a Rep. Oh, I told her alright.. Yes , I WAS nice.. I wanted an explanation of how a cancelled order is same as a pending order... They are totally different..

They sent me a note, telling me "We are so happy you visited our website! Please visit again..." I sent that back, and asked if anybody actually READ my message to them. Obviously, no, because my message had nothing to do with their website!!! I spoke to a Rep, who passed on my question...Yeah, this afternoon, I was steaming again... I think a computer is more accurate than they are... Unbelievable for sure... rolleyes

Even when I spoke to the Rep, she said "Oh, that order wasn't cancelled, where did you get that idea?" I still have the original e-mail.. Oh, talk about fun.. Like, they aren't making enough $$$ yet? Yeah, it is wild, for sure.. Oh, Please hold for the next available rep. Your estimated wait time is at least 20 minutes.... No, I am not done with them yet, either.. :confused

Seriously, anyone who's dealt with those nutters at Telstra or Optus would know the anguish...
