Please Pick my Mainboard

Hi Guys,

I`m that fedup with my computer right now, I`m ready to go nuts, its a 3066Mhz Pentium 4 socket 775, HTT, C1E, EM64T, Yet it doesn't even feel like a 2Ghz, and according to EVEREST, its on part with a 1.4Ghz System at best, and everything is pointing towards the motherboard and its chipset, aswell as a shameful memory controller...

So, I am going to upgrade, I need to correct this situation before I loose my temper with it, I`ve tweaked windows as much as I can, if I tweak anymore, I`m gonna look like I am using a Windows 3.11 machine the way it looks.

I have 512MB Memory, but I`m buying another identicle stick later on, I also have an AGP GeForce 6600GT 128MB, I cannot afford a new videocard, so I am going to sell this one becuase a new board requires a PCIe.

So, my question is, I will be buying from Scorpion Computers Can you checkout the Socket 775 model boards they have here and let me know which one would be best for me, I cannot afford a $350 board, but I am not going to go real cheap either, I just have to convince Kylie its worth the upgrade and its a good investment, but will allow my hardware to perform the way its meant to: Socket 755 Boards.

I`ve also got a SATA drive, 160GB Seagate Barracude, it doesn't feel fast either, heck this board has a SiS 661FX chipset, yet 6 of the 8 USB ports are USB 1.0, I don't understand that, its a 775, I thought USB 2.0 was the new standard a couple years ago.

The only IDE device I have is the 16x16x DL DVDRW
