please please help me :(

I repaired windows after i was missing a system file wowexec.exe and getting errors about msdart.dll , and now my system is completly messed up. Everything is super slow to start up including booting , but once i open an application once its ok and opens fast after that. I also get this error message in IE (application error : the instruction at"0x040a103" referenced memory at "0x00000000" the memory could not be "read") and got one similar in yahoo today then the app closes. i think its related to the overrall problem but im not sure,, it does it in windows folders sometimes too ,, espescially in my movie folder. Anyway after the repair my movies and music are all choppy now too. So something is making all my apps slow and movies and music chop does anyone know how i can fix this?? please help me.

philips 5.1 psc605 soundcard
1.5 mbs of ram
60 gb harddrive space
still on service pack 1 ,, wanted to fix this before trying that out

 

Ive been reading the boards , thinking i have a virus mabye and downloaded AVG antivirus but i cant install it , it tells me to reinstall the following module to my system32 directory : wowexec.exe this is the same problem i had before i repaired windows. anybody? please help

 

It let me load and run the ANTIVIR program it found 6 trojans and i deleted them ,, computer is still messed up though. any ideas? please i know theres got to be a majorgeek out there.

 

Boot in Safe Mode, w/o networking. Run Ad-aware, Spybot and try to install AVG and run/update it before restarting. Good Luck.

 

i just did that , avg still will not install and says i need to reinstall module wowexec.exe , but ad aware found like 57 things and spybot found 3 , i fixed the problems and rebooted , but stitt the same problem ,any other things i could try??
