Please someone help me out.....please.........I have too many tool bars. I really

    like the live TV tool bar, I also have too many antiviruses

    how many of each of these do I need?

    my computer appears to be running slow and I just inquired in malware forum and they claim I have no viruses please help me out, oh the antiviruses are the free one

    your expertise is appreciated

    You should only have one real time antivirus running at any given time.

    Toolbars you should be able to remove through Control Panel> Add/Remove Programs menu.

    I agree with Lev.... most toolbars can be removed from your PC simply by going to Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. There are a few stubborn toolbars which are closer to malware than actual toolbars. These are rarely hard to remove with a good spyware/virus remover. Check this link for some malware removing tools:

    Already stated he went to Malware forum and got the all-clear for malware (which uses SAS - check the R&R procedures). And I already stated how to remove toolbars.

    I have avast, Ad-Aware Se, Spybot SD downloaded that one from this site, Advanced Window CareV2 personal, SuperAntiSpyware, I think that is it

    what am I supposed to remove? I don't want to remove anything that is vital to my system

    You mean which toolbars? Post up a screen shot of your Add/Remove Programs window.

    If you mean of the list of programs you gave, don't remove Avast...that is your realtime antivirus checker. All the others are scans-on-demand software and is just a case of personal preference, but all are good for different things. Again, check out the link which tells you how many of each different type of software app you are advised to have!
