please, someone help me

    this is my first post here and i have a problem...i have a gateway laptop running windows xp and the function key is acting in reverse (typing this is a pain)

    anyone know how i can fix this?

    Welcome to Major Geeks daken201, could you elaborate on "Function Keys" acting in reverse. Sounds like there maybe a keyboard driver setting that is out of place, but more details would be helpful

    when the function key is pressed down the letters (mjkluiop0;) it comes out as (0123456/*)but it is acting in the opposit way, i will try the drivers and check them
