Please take a gn00b under your wing right quickly?

I have one simple question...

I fear I may get banded from a message board. I'm sure if they do so, it will be done according to my IP. How can I avoid this?

 

By not getting banned

 

If they ban you by IP, its quite evident that the owners don't want you there.

Knowing that you are not welcome, I would think you wouldn't want to stay in the first place.

Adrynlyne: Seriously bro/sis... nice retort. If I were to get banned, is there anything I could do? I think I have already been banned, but I think it is just by my specific account. I know they can read my IP because one of the forum managers already remarked to me about that when I re-registered. If they are not able to come after me by my IP, I can just keep creating accounts until they decide to treat me fairly or I get tired. But if they are able to ban me by my IP, and they do so, do I have any recourse? I'm sure I do, but can any of you help me with that?

 

One of several forum managers is treating me unfairly. I just want to be able to be part of the group and contribute. I've not been in this forum either, and I'm not sure if it is some sort of court or something... if it's not, I'm just wondering if someone can help me mask/scramble or disguise my IP should I get IP banned from the site in question.

If they ban you by IP, you are finished with that particular forum.

Thats when it is time to move to bigger and better things.

I know if MG ever IP banned me, I would not think twice about the place ever again.

Email the owner of the forum and let him know of the injustice

I see your plight exaclty how you described it. You need to email the owner. If its so simple that the forum mods are causing you undue grief, then it should be resolved.

Nobody here will be able to help you with your particular problem.

People here don't want to get banned, for helping you hack yourself around a ban of your own.
