My computer acted very odd the other night. I did a restore. Didn't help. Then I reformatted my hd and it's still happening. Here are some of the things that are happening.

During the Windows 7 setup process, the part where you choose your region, the clock on the right was just spinning in circles. Everything was typing backwards before the format. That's not an issue. ANY drop down box (superbar, etc) will not stay open. When I type in some area it just backspaces on it's own. I was using rivatuner to overclock but I barely used the overclocking at all. I had my processor overclocked through bios. Barely overclocked it. Check temps and everything.

    What could this be?

Windows 7 64bit (was 32 bit when it started screwing up)
    Core 2 Quad Q9400
    4 Gigs Ballistix Ram
    500 watt power supply

Also the processor is about 2 months old. It was new.

I would at first suspect a malware infection. There are some that infect the bios and/or HDD in a way that a normal format won't remove. I would suggest the Read and Run me First.

You might also try a new keyboard. May have had something spilled on it or it may have a stuck key.

That was it. Don't know if it was the keyboard or mouse. I put 2 new on and it quit. Thank God it wasn't my processor. Thanks! -Nate
