What are your temperatures like at the time of the crash? How many watts is your power supply rated for? Since you do not see this problem except when you are putting a high demand on your system (ie gaming), I would suspect that either heat, or a shortage of power would be the cause of your problem.

Firstly have you gone to the games website and searched for patches/updates?

Secondly have you updated your Video drivers?

Finally you could try to uninstall the game and reinstall and note if prob persists

It's not a legitimate Windows service as far as I know.

Try disabling the service. Start, run and type in services.msc

Scroll down and stop and disable it. Don't change anything else in there.

Also, if you're using XP, set it to not reboot on errors.

Start, run and type in sysdm.cpl

On the Advanced tab, and under Startup and Recovery, click Settings.

Under System Failure, uncheck Automatically restart, then OK.

Be aware that some viruses can also use DgiVecp, so I suggest you pay a visit to the Malware Removal forum, and follow the suggestions in the stickies.
