   CS 1.6/protocols for
   Came up with quite a few pages where protocol 48 can be downloaded. Most seem to be torrents.

   Have you run the Steam updater for Counterstrike yet? as the protocol used by many of the game servers you are trying to play on has been updated and your version is the previous version so hence you not connecting. Could try the info HERE
