plugging in a P6

    Just replaced power supply on a Dell Dimension 4600C. Can't get the mouse to work/ The P6 is not plugged in...does it need to be? Thanks!!

    If by 'P6' you mean one of the power supply connectors, then no, it may not have to be plugged in if your motherboard, hard drive, and optical drives are being supplied...it's probably a spare connector...

    What type of mouse (ps2, usb, wireless)?

    You will have a few extra spare cables to upgrades etc.
