plz insert a disk into drive H?

Hi to all.

i have a usb. sometime ago that was in good condition but now when i attached it with my pc, the usb shows but the messages comes, 'Please insert a disk into drive H'. i have two windows installed win 98 and win XP. the figures are below here: is there any solution for it or the usb has been useless?.......regards...

Try it in a different computer. This is to see if the problem is on your computer or with the USB stick.

Just a thought windows 98 SE doesn't like the usb drives you have to install an after market driver to get them to work on windows 98 otherwise they are unknown devices.
I would still test the usb drive on another computer like poldr said.
