pointer

my pointer jumps all over without moving the mouse. It looks as if some program is running but can't find one by using Ctrl Alt Dele. Help. Thanks

I bought a tailless mouse from Microsoft and have found out that it was causing all my problem with my pointer that was working by itself. I removed the mouse batteries but the pointer continued to move on its own. It caused some nasty things to happen. I then removed the receiver that connectes to my pc and behold!, that was it. I worked one entire day on some drivers as the mouse removed some drivers on its own. I hope this might help someone with a problem similar to the one I had.

 

Thanks Star<17>, I erased many programs but the pointer continued to move on its own. The answer was the tailless mouse from Microsoft. The receiver that plugs into my pc was the culprit. Once I removed it and went back to my other mouse My problems were over. No one believed me that it was opening programs and removed a couple of drivers. NOW they do. I cleaned up my pc so Thanks for the mail.
