    Hello
I was trying to remove the pointing device icon from the task bar in 'guest' but mistakenly disabled the mouse.
I have tried to work in guest but the mouse is obviously inoperable. In admin, my account, I have tried setting the mouse properly but the change does not take effect in 'guest'.
I tried removing guest but there is only a provision to close it.
How can this be remedied so I can agian use guest?
    Thank you

I guess I did not post well for my first time -sorry.
    Dell Inspiron 5150, laptop, o.s. xp, sp3.
1- I went into my guest account and b/c there was a pointing device icon in the tray I made a quick error and disabled the mouse instead of removing the icon.
2- If possible, I would really like to rectify this error.
3-I am aware of limited accounts and their usefulness; thank you for the referrals.
Could you please tell me how to, somehow, remove the guest account, enable the mouse or........
I have tried everything from sytem restore to trying to maneuver within the guest account which obviouly I can't do as the mouse in inoperable. I tried as the admin to fix settings but they don't take effect in 'guest'.

In all, the request is to 'fix' the damage I caused with the specific mouse/guest issue.
    Thank you for your help.

For security reasons should rename Administrator and Guest accounts. via Administrative Options, that is on XP Pro.
