Hello everyone, I have a Microsoft cordless optical mouse (the leather one) and would like to add a trackball as well because my right shoulder is injured.

The question is; can both the mouse and trackball be installed on the same computer without problems?

The trackball is a corded Logitech Marble mouse with a trackball on top. The Microsoft cordless mouse is plugged into a PS/2 port and I wish to plug the corded Marble mouse into a USB port on the front of the tower.

The Microsoft mouse has its own software installed.
Will there be a clash between the two?

    Thanks

I have the logitech trackball also. Occasionally, because I use my PC as a media center, I use the cordless mouse I bought for my laptop so I don't need to get up while watching movies to adjust settings, volume, etc. I've also used the cordless mouse on an old PC with a ps/2 mouse with no issues.
